What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in time is 3:00 PM EST and check-out is 12:00 PM EST. If you arrive before 3:00 PM and your room is not ready, we are happy to store your luggage for you. Late checkout is available upon request for a fee, based on availability.

Does the hotel store luggage?

We store luggage before check in and on the day of departure only. We cannot store overnight. Each guest is able to store up to two bags on a complimentary basis. Any additional will cost $5.00 per bag.

Does Broadway Plaza Hotel allow pets?

We only allow service animals for guests with physical handicaps/limitations. We do not allow emotional support animals of any kind.

Is the hotel a non-smoking property?

All guest rooms and public spaces are 100% non-smoking. There is a smoking penalty fee of $250 if it is determined there was smoking of any kind in the room or public spaces. This includes vaping as well.

What is the hotel’s cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is by 3:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time, 48 hours prior to your check-in date. If you cancel after that time, you will be charged the first night’s room and tax and any remaining days of your reservation will be canceled. Please hold on to any confirmation or cancellation numbers as they will need to be provided for any future claims.

If the reservation is non-refundable, no modification or cancellation will be granted and you will be charged in full.

If the reservation was made through a third-party website, cancellations must be made directly with the third party. The hotel is not authorized to cancel, and cannot provide refunds, for any third-party reservations.

If the reservation is part of a group, please refer to the group contract for specific cancellation policies.

Will the hotel accept packages on my behalf?

Yes. We accept all packages and do not charge a fee. Please make sure your name is clearly listed on all packages sent to the hotel for identification purposes.

Is the hotel wheel-chair accessible?

Yes, ADA-accessible rooms are available and can be reserved by contacting the hotel directly.

Is parking available?

We have been able to arrange special discounted parking rates for our hotel guests with Metropolis Parking located at 800 Sixth Avenue. The lot is located on 28th Street between 6th Avenue and Broadway on the right hand or south side of the street. It is immediately right past the Bank of America branch.

Although we have no affiliation, they offer special rates of $35 per 24 hours for regular vehicles and $50 per 24 hours for oversized vehicles exclusively to our hotel guests.

Inform the parking attendant you’re staying at Broadway Plaza Hotel, and you’ll receive a registration link to their site to register your vehicle. Register your vehicle online and scan the QR code at our Front Desk to get the discount. If you forgot to register, show your hotel invoice for the discounted rate. There are no in and out privileges.

How can I book a group stay?

Any bookings of 8 or more rooms over similar dates is considered a group and must be booked through the Sales Department. Group services are not available if the reservations are booked electronically or via the internet and may be canceled upon the hotel's discretion. If you are interested in booking a group or obtaining more information, please contact us at reservations@broadwayplazahotel.com or call the hotel Monday-Friday from 9 AM-5 PM.

Do the guest rooms have minibars?

No.

Are cribs available?

Cribs and Pack n Plays are available at no charge.

Do the guest rooms have hair dryers?

Yes.

Is the lobby reception and check-in service available 24/7?

Yes.

What is the minimum age requirement to check into the hotel?

The minimum age is 21 years old and a valid government issued photo ID is required to check in.

What is your debit/credit card policy?

Any non-refundable reservation will be charged in full at the time of booking. Once reserved, the reservation can not be canceled or modified without the full room and tax as the penalty. If your card is declined at the time of booking, the reservation is not confirmed. The hotel will contact the guest to inform them of the declined payment and confirm that the reservation was not secured.

All other reservations must be guaranteed with a valid debit/credit card and expiration date. The hotel does not accept prepaid credit cards.

We do not charge the credit card at the time of booking. The credit card is used as a guarantee to hold the room and must be valid 48 hours prior to check-in on the cancellation cut-off date or we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. You will need to present your credit card and official government issued photo ID when establishing credit at check in.

48 hours prior to your arrival date, at the cancellation cut-off, we will authorize $100 (one half of the $200 refundable security deposit) on the credit card you provided to guarantee your reservation with. If the credit card is declined when attempting to get an authorization code, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and resell the room as it is no longer guaranteed. We will attempt to reach you by email and then phone if we have received no response, before canceling the room.

The remaining $100 of the refundable security/incidental deposit is due at check-in, along with full payment for your room, taxes, and fees. If paying in cash, the deposit is $200.00. If using a debit/credit card, it is authorized for $100.00. Any unused portion is returned or the credit released at check-out. Again, we do not charge the credit card and ONLY get a pre authorization code that is held against any credit limits you may have.

VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT IF YOU USE A DEBIT CARD TO GUARANTEE YOUR RESERVATION, IT REGISTERS AS A WITHDRAWAL NOT AS AN AUTHORIZATION HOLD.

You can always pay in cash or use another credit card when you arrive, but as mentioned previously, the credit card you provided to guarantee your reservation must be able to be authorized for $100 at the cancellation cut off which is at 3:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time, 48 hours prior to your arrival date or we reserve the right to cancel the reservation.

Do you have a facility fee?

 Yes, we charge a daily facility fee of $9.95 per day plus taxes, totaling $11.42 per day.
